Who Am I?

Alex Dasneves is a student at Bridgewater State University's Bartlett College of Science and Mathematics, with a Major in Computer Science, and a Minor in Mathematics. In his freetime, he serves as the President of the Computer Science club. For work, he is employed by the BCoSM as a Peer Assistance Leader, which he has been doing for the past 3 semesters. Throughout this time, he has learned how to lead other students, and how to help them succeed with their Computer Science work. When he is not in school, he lives with his parents, and his two sisters at their home in Massachusetts.

Over the past 2 summers, Alex has worked at Sager Electronics, as an eSales intern, where he responds to customer's questions, and helps resolve their complaints. While working at Sager, he learned how to communicate issues, and provide resolutions to situations that may arise.

In the past, Alex has worked at BSU's University Events department, in their PALS department, under the direction of Mark Johnson. Alex worked as both a Production Assistant, where he worked in the school's wood shop to assist the theater department with construction of their sets, as well as working for other departments, both on and off campus, for events that requsted audio and lighting. Alex also served as the Office Assistant, where he was able to help schedule, communicate, and plan events on campus.

In the future, Alex wishes to pursue a career in Accademia, as a College Professor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
